Elephant White Book Signing @ Tales on Moon Lane. 14-02-12

I was asked to draw a little something on their graffiti wall of Illustrators, I think I was most nervous about doing this as there is a pretty incredible caliber of artists.

Shadow puppet animation Sunday

Sarah Dennis and I spent our Sunday making a short shadow puppet animation.
The homemade set consisted of a couple of white bed sheets pinned over some chairs, desk lamp placed behind and hey-presto we had ourselves a theater set!! Here we are cutting out all the characters. It was a GREAT day and a lot of laughter occurred...

My Book reading & workshop at Queens Gate Junior School

I had a brilliant day with the kids at Queens Gate School. They all seemed to enjoy the book and LOVE Elephant White, even more than the book. What you can't see, as I am unable to put all the photos that show faces on the internet, is the moment where all 22 girls dive bombed Elephant White for a group photo. I could not see him at all. He was buried underneath all the girls very cosiest cuddles, they almost decapitated him with their love.

Story time.....

The kids made some great little patchwork Elephant White's of their own. I had a little chuckle to myself at how some of the stars had been stuck down...

Wow!! What an AMAZING job Kaz Harrison has done in making Elephant White come to life.
He will be joining me on my book signing tour and we are excited. He is super cuddly! I collected him late last night from north London and made my way back to south London with him wrapped up in a bin liner to protect him from the dirt, only his little head and heart button eyes were poking out and I got some very strange looks...
