I finally got my business cards printed, I had five different lots printed each with the five bugs from my website and blog title on the back... the idea being to collect them all.
I have been part of the Stokes Croft cooperative for a couple of months now. We are having an open studio on the weekend of the 14th-15th December. This is the flyer that I have done, if you live locally come down and check it out. Above DHS, in Stokes Croft...there will be festivities and wine!
I have been busy making Stich birds for the stall. They are handmade with love out of old fabrics, yummy buttons, long straw legs and lots and lots of thread. They hang like puppets and are very good listeners. The 1st lady who brought one, wanted to hang it by her aga in her kitchen so she could talk to it whilst she cooked.
I have recently joined a small collective of print makers and illustrators. We run a market stall in St. Nics in Bristol, on Fridays and at The Tobacco Factory on Sundays. It is a really lovely stall and day outside despite the bitter cold. This is the flyer that I have designed for us.
Some People are having a picnic nearby and spot the Possum. They think he is wearing an unhappy frown so they decide to take him back to their town and show him a good time.
This image was inspired by a dream I had recently. It is also a poster for a friend, from Dorset who owns many beehives and his busy bees have allowed him to start his own company producing honey, beeswax lip balm and yummy all sorts.
This is album cover design for my friend who is in the long process of creating his own album, titled after one of the tracks, 'Come Down Town'. I am hoping that when it is done I might do an animation that would come as a d.v.d with the album.
